Shirou Emiya, the adopted son of a deceased magician, is an ordinary student in Fuyuki City, Japan. Though he comes from a different bloodline of magicians, he is not capable of performing anything beyond basic reinforcement magic. When mysterious deaths begin to occur within the city, Shirou is thrust into a deadly war for the Holy Grail in which Masters must fight each other with their Servants in order to survive. Furthermore, due to Shirou\'s lack of magical knowledge, his powerful Servant is unable to remember her past or call upon her full powers! Will Emiya be able to survive the war and uphold his wish to be a \"Hero of Justice\" in the middle of this killing spree?
