What made me wonder this is, first, Isshin Kurosaki. We know that he has shinigami powers and was probably a captain. Either A, he was always a human, kinda like Ichigo being a shinigami, or B. when he left SS he entered a gigai and got married and had the Kurosaki family.
Another thing that made me wonder this is when Rukia first transfered her shinigami powers to Ichigo she got that gigai from Urahara that would have eventually left her with no spiritual power. If she had stayed longer and lost the ability to become a shinigami, would she be normal, grow older, be able to have kids.
So I guess my question is actually can a soul inside a gigai reproduce? |
With a stock Soul-Society gigai, probably not. But Urahara probably could/can/has made something can.
