4.] Step 3 in this picture is unnecessary, if you leave it blank itll use the same settings as the input. But dont forget to select a compressor (it'll appear after clicking on "Convert") cause if not, the file can turn out to be enormous ( for instance: i tried it and this happened: an . avi file of 35 seconds took about 950MB of disk space)





and soon you get the avi file (or mpeg etc) :)
