Trapped
Darkness surounds me
I'm all alone
I call for help, only to hear my echo in return
Trapped in this prison, caged in my mind
How long have I been here
How long will I stay here
can't see an exit, can't escape
But then suddenly, a flash of light blinds me
I stand up, breaking free from my chains
stretching my arms out to the light
the light responds, surrounds me, acts as my savior
I'm disappearing
To where I do not know
But one thing is certain
I'll never lock myself in this prisson again
Who are you?
You walk past me and my heart stops
I stop moving and look back
Who was she? did she see me? did she even notice me?
Why am I asking myself these questions?
why can't I stop staring?
I started following you
Never getting too far nor too close
observing her from a distance
watching every move she makes
hoping she would notice me
Because I'm afraid to ask
Not knowing how to live without you
Blinded by love
Dying to just know your name
