There has been no confirmation whether season 2 will be produced and no release dates have been announced. However, an OVA has been greenlit for production which is episode 24. From that episode, we probably get to see the afterstory, which portrays the lives of Tomoya, Nagisa and the rest after finishing/graduating from school as well as how they continue their lives from there similar to the movie.

If the OVA doesn't display the afterstory, then from the looks of the manga, it should display the story between Tomoya and Tomoyo instead of Tomoya and Nagisa as well as if they got along to be more then friends, how will their lives be and end up.

Who knows, again if the OVA doesn't display the afterstory, then a second season on the afterstory might be produced later on but I guess that won't be for a long while.
