Try Higurashi no Naku Koro ni. It's a horror, psychological yet humorous anime that you don't quite find in any other anime. Now when you start to watch it, it may seem a bit tense and then you may think, "What's wrong with this person? This isn't funny at all!" But once you actually get into it, there will be some funny things that occur among the group of friends that hang out with the protagonist of the story. Now if you can't stand gore and bloody, tortuous scenes, then just forget about it, but if you do somehow enjoy the anime, why not check out its sequel: Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai.

Now I see on your list that you watched Elfen Lied. If you liked that, then you will have no problem watching this anime.
