there is more that meets the eye with BOTI chapters

not only that Dark Horses editions had a different count, but also front page artwork, which is now mostly unusable since there are a lot of pages missing

the best example is this:

Plot:
ch 99 ends in a middle of my ch 86 (actually it ends on page 32, which is worse since now we have 4 pages which are supposed to be transferred, and if I wish to upload them, I can't because my BOTI collection goes by a different count then the one that is up (dark horses))

Solution:
so now if we want to make those 4 pages work we have to delete all the way from 99 to about ch 107, because if I want to upload those ch(Trickster volume) again my count goes as far as Part 5, and the chapters on line have only up to Part 4.......

ISSUE 1.
half of the uploads are dark horse and half japanese count which is a big problem since story telling isn't appropriate, we now have to recreate from those chapter japanese count and we can't SINCE IT'S almost IMPOSSIBLE, I said almost because nothing is impossible for me when I'm on my vacations lool

I think that if I put a lot of effort into it and start reading online reviews that I could somehow find count
(when you read solution you'll get clearer idea of what I'm taking about)

ISSUE 2.
now we have 2 different scanlator groups:

1. one that is following Dark Horse count, and isn't scanlating anymore

2.one that will not redo the old chapters that 1st scanlating group did....

they are the only one who followed the count correctly and never posted just so that they could post it up......

so we now have to put together all the scans from the 1st scanlator and recreate the Japanese count

(which is the original one, and if you ask me a better one, Dark Horse broke several stories in middle of it's action and that is bad)

and that is almost IMPOSSIBLE since I do not posses the original japanese count.....

of course I could redo it, but then we would have to dump almost all dark horse color frontages, and some other work too
I can't believe that dark horse hired a drawer to make different front pages....

SOLLUTION :

I decided to keep Japanese count active, since currently scanlating group are doing it from that count and most of the ch are in that count (in my possession and already uploaded)

PLAN:
I start to read a lot of online reviews to get idea of what happened in which japanese chapter.
Then I make Volume batches from Dark Horses chapters (i.e. there are 6 chapters in dark horses volume "killer" and only 5 in Japanese, I copy all the dark horses pics into one folder and then I use my guts and online reviews to approximately make from dh's 6 chapters japanese 5 chapters)


All my chapters up to ch 93 follows Japanese count FOR SURE........

chapters 94-102, and 105-119 are a dark horse edition and I need to rework them into japanese of course I would like to add as much of Dark horses color front pages so I would collect them all and add them with numbers that would place them last in pic order so that they would look like those appendixes that are sometimes in japanese chapters, like swastikaexplanation etc.





well as you might know(or might not) I'll be leaving in a couple days to a special doctor, so I hope that you answer me quickly
and on 28th I'll be leaving and I don't know if I'll have internet for like 2-3-4 weeks (I don't know how long will I be staying)



SOLLUTION THAT IS POSSIBLE BUT JUST TOO PROBLEMATIC AND LONG AND TRUOBLESOME SO I WROTE THEM ON THE END AND IS SOOOO HALF-ASSED etc.....

I make a new count, I use my expertise laziness and I make a mix out of japanese and Dark Horses chapters

PLAN:
1. ch. 58- 65 completely deleted, of course change the count of everything that follows
2. ch 66-72, split into individual ch. since each and every one of them has it's own title, or if that's impossible then completely delete

split upload 66-72 into following:
ch 55. Beasts: Beasts Part 1 (page 4 to 62)
ch 56. Beasts: Beasts Part 2 (page 63 to 82)
ch 57. Beasts: Beasts Part 3 (page 83 to 112)
ch 58. Beasts: Beasts Part 4 (page 113 to 166)
ch 59. Beasts: Beasts Part 5 (page 167 to last)

then we leave dark horses chapters all the way up to current ch. 119 and then we turn back to japanese count a little....with which we just completely ruined the story, since after returning to japanese count chapters will have to be split up (i.e current ch 120-121, 120 stops in middle of nothing, and 121 starts with nothing, just exactly in middle of the story) because nothing is the same, page count, where it ends etc, so we would have to add some pages move some I'm not even sure what goes where

and that's not even half of work and it seems to me that alone will take you 3 hours with the splitting and re uploading.....




I beg of you that you read my post with extreme caution because I went into deep waters of explanations of how to......and also I beg you to check the examples I gave you, they really prove a point
