With Devil May Cry 4 hitting the stores on Feb 5th(US release date.....not sure on the others) I was just wondering who was planning on getting it, and basically who else hear loves the series.

I really love DMC and I'm planning to get DMC4 as soon as I can. In my opinion this game some kind of revolutionizes the series, because the story seems to become really dramatical, deeper than in the lasts games.

Yeah so am I, in fact I have the special edition already pre ordered........its going to be sweet.

Though personally I feel kinda cheated that you only play as Dante for like 50% of the story.

Well.. hm... yeah, I mean, Dante is really cool and fans could get disappointed, because their hero is just a background character.. behind this young Nero.

But I think Nero fits in the role of a main character. He's cool, smart, carefree... and he's in love ^^
He's not bad. I really wanted to see Dante to fall in love with a girly, but Nero seems to have what it takes ;)

I'm not disappointed, I am excited to see the conflict between Nero, Dante and also Kyrie.

The creators didn't do such a bad thing... Raiden in MGS2 was worse... XDDD

The idea comes from the animé I think, because in the animé, Dante, Lady and Trish fought together, too ;)

Yeah I saw that, not sure if thats where the idea is from, but if they are adding both of them then why not the girl from the second one as well. Just seems kinda funny to leave her out but bring everybody else.

Actually speaking of the anime, the first 4 episodes actually come with devil may cry 4 special edition.

What's the girl's name from the 2nd game? Lucia I think it was.
The 2nd game was not that cool, the fans didn't like it that much. I think it was okay, but the 1st and 3rd games were better.

Maybe they work with popularity.. Lucia wasn't that of an interesting character I think.
Trish and Lady are better to go on with.

Its just odd that the other two are in it and she isn't........though I will agree the 3rd and 1st games are way better then the second.

Oh and about the anime the only reason I haven't watched it is because hearing Dante talk in japanese sounds so weird for me I couldn't watch it. So I was going to wait till it came out in USA and the fact that it came with DMC4 : SE, was really perfect for me.

Personally think that the reason the 2nd wasn't as good was that the difficulty was lower than it was in the original game. And Dante's personality changed alot in that game.

Yeah I agree completely........the new Joker from what I've seen looks great. I'm so excited for the new Batman movie. Mostly because the Joker is one of my favorite villains of all time, and Heath Ledger from what I've seen does a seriously good job playing him.

Yeah......though maybe it wasn't spoiling as much as we think. I do no onething, when Nero was glowing blue with that ghost guy behind him in the trailer, that was his devil trigger.

I kinda hoped it was Vergil :P
It might be possible that his swords (which they use to open the demon world) includes his soul and because Nero used it, Vergil came into his body.
Sounds funny, but this "Give me more power!" was much more Vergils voice I think. And the guy in the back could resemble Nelo Angelo ^^

I would be glad to see Vergil's comeback XD

Its a japanese website, but you should be able to move around the site with no problems as some of the words are in english.

Go to characters Nero, and then it should say Devil trigger somewhere on the page.

Well, the DT of Nero doesn't really look like Nelo Angelo, but he's carrying Vergil's sword, that's what makes me think of Vergil's comeback... somehow XD

Well at different points during the game peopel are doing things with that sword, so it has to do with something with the plot of the game.

Yeah already downloaded it, and it's as sweet as I thought it would, so glad I preordered it.

From what I've played so far, which is basically what you did in the demo. The controls work very well. The graphics look very good as well. Though sometimes the camera sometimes gets into a postition where you can't really tell where to go from there. Though I'm stuck on third mission, wondering around a castle I have to find some kind of mercury to get this weapon that can stand up to fire balls. But I have no idea where to find the Mercury. Took a break for a little bit then going back on. Oh and the first enemy you face in the whole game is Dante. Though he obviously isn't even trying. Keeps taunting you while your fighting and everything.

Thats only a small one, I wouldn't even call it a spoiler if you've seen trailers but I don't want to piss anyone off.

But like I said the only bad thing so far is the camera in some places. Though its only in some cases works fine most of the time.

Yeah so far its extremely fun. And the first couple of movies are awesome. The artbook has some pretty cool pics in it as well.

Dante was very cocky in DMC4 but not as cocky as nero despite the fact he cries like 3 times in the game haha

the first time u fight the bosses its good but then you have to fight them again with Dante and after that a third time when your in side the savoir

using Nero to fight the bosses is cool cos you use the devil buster on them and for added punch devil buster and devil trigger

Devil May Cry 4 was good...I liked it...but my best experience definitely was with DMC1 and DMC3. The first one for being so amazing and having good combat, and the 3rd (or first in storyline if you will) for completely making what made the first so good and adding on to it....oh and Vergil XD. But I feel that newer Devil May Cry's won't be as good as the 1st one.

If you ask me....most action games today aren't as good as Devil May Cry. I'm not a big fan of God of War and it isn't that great...I don't know why people see it as great.

Why on the Wii?...I don't know about this...I love Devil May Cry and all and it's a great game but I don't really think Capcom is gonna make a big announcement about that. I mean it is just a rumor.

If anything they should announce Monster Hunter Tri or something absolutely new. Also it's still kind of early...DMC4 just came out last year....and on the Wii?...I honestly doubt that...

Should a Devil May Cry ever come out on the Wii...expect wonky controls, weird ways of doing combos, lots of swinging around your wiimote, and detection errors...Which is why it would be a bad idea to bring a Devil May Cry game to the Wii.

I love the DMC series. I have played one, three and four (haven't managed to complete three yet T_T) and am looking forward to five. =D It may be good or it may not, I am reserving judgment for now.
