How has the anime you watch influenced you as a person? That is...if it has affected you at all.

since you´re japanese, is it that uncommon for you to eat ramen to have anime had an influence on you to do so? ;)

The anime show Naruto, it kind of influenced me to get out there and follow my dream. It made me excercise more which helped a little bit socialy, and it also made me look at myself more and say, holy crap I'm alot like Naruto @_@

No major effects, really, though my hair tends to turn blond and horrent when I’m bothered and I caught myself throwing sand at annoying people; moreover, I started to write down information about the abilities and weaknesses of the local baker and others on little infocards. My hamster wasn’t very helpful as a power fail restarter (though it made cute pikapika sounds while tying) and I took the habit of collecting glass splinters, just in case I need to transform to a full demon. Cats, however, are not as talkative as promised and can hardly manage mere smaltalk, dattebayo.

nevermind babysitting, it´s the common part-time job for most girls your age.

I personally like babysitting : o Too bad it's quite rarely needed in Finland... We have free child daycare centers, or free as far as I know :/ Besides, babysitting is quite respectable ^^
Just compare babysitting to delivering newspapers; the pay is pure crap, the amount of work (folding ~5 different types of ads into a stack + delivering) is insane and the jobs are hard to get :p Glad I don't have to do it, can't afford working 4-6 hours 2 days a week for some 40-60e pay :p People actually need babysitters, but no one gives a damn about some ads "forcefully" delivered to them ;)

I'm much more interested in Japanese culture and language now. Also, I think I've become a much more open person and more creative. ^^ Anime keeps me from getting bored and saves me from getting overly angry sometimes. :)

Anime created the Goddess named Yuki in me who keep me sane and living for years. (enough said, at the end, anime keep me alive!!!)

No, I compared taking care of babies/children to dealing newspapers ;p Don't get me wrong, babysitting can be tough (depending on the kids), but atleast it's social. Dealing newspapers just sucks big fat dk balls, or that's my opinion :p

lol, i think the reason i don't like babysitting is that the kids are hard to take care of... they run around and swear at each other, and they're only like 6. o_O
actually, i think i'd like to throw newspapers at houses, i'd get to go around the neighbourhood without getting in trouble by my parents, lol. xD

delivering newspapers is one hell of a job if you live in the countryside. it´s much easier in the city. i don´t live that remote since i live in a village, but even that was kinda hard to take. it took me about 4 hours 2 times a week to deliver the newspapers i was assigned to. never again.

for me too, and its only about 40 something Canadian a month...
bee-happee
04-04-2007, 09:07 PM
lol nit3mar3, you're probably right, it probably is harder to deliver newspapers then babysit a bunch of kids. :)
and only $40 a month? okay, i think i get more money than that per week! :O

just to remind you, i did newspapers in BC, not in ON, i don't know how they pay around here...
nit3mar3
04-04-2007, 09:12 PM
i got about 60 €
but the pay depends on the newspaper. some give more, some give less. and you could try it if you don´t live in the countryside ;)

If that were true, you would not be the moderator on an anime forum. Bad answer, I just phrased my question the way I did so that certain people wouldn't be gay.:D

I think that one strange little influence that anime has had on me is that I want to be in more serious situations. I guess to prove my self...I guess... I also turned into a more...I dunno...romantic kinda guy, and I do more stuff for my gf...even though she just hits me all the time, lol.
