Dual Screen help?

I just set up my computer with a double screen (on XP) and it's a continuous desktop set up. I was wondering, is there any way I can change the background on either screen without changing it on the other? Thank you.

Sure you can, mate! You used to be limited to what your graphics card offered you for that, but with a little bit of software, it can happen for anyone. Check out UltraMon:

UltraMon is the king of multiple monitor systems. It is not free, but is a wonderful piece of software.

Now, if you want a free alternative, then you should use DisplayFusion:

Both of these will get the job done.

all i can say is get a mac! thats a way easy function on an apple.
