Problem with fire fox

I'm having a problem with fire fox when ever I come to this forum
Since I installed the latest dictionary for the dictionary
I am un able to ad paragraphs to my posts
I cannot save changes to my posts
and none of the tools in the tool bar will respond when I click on them
ATM I'm using IE which I despise hencey why I can do all the above that I have listed
so if anyone could recomend a way to resolve the problem I would much apriciate it

Try starting Firefox in safe mode and check "Disable all add-ons" then click Make changes and restart in normal mode and enable all you add-ons (if you have any) and you might have to uninstall/disable that dictionary you installed since it doesn't work right for you. o.O let me know if that doesn't help. =P

ed: try to reinstall or even deinstall the dictionary you just installed...its most likely because of this


If not:
I'm not an expert in such things, but i would say youve got a problem with java.
Possiblities to solve this problem would be to reinstall java(the newest version).
Another way (which sounds a little far-fetched and dumb but could solve the problem) is to completly reinstall MF and Java. I cant ensure this all will work and maybe this problem is just momentarily. Well maybe someone else will find a better solution :) like i said im not an expert °_°

tried all your suggestions unfortunatly
the problem seems to be realted to the profile
but Vista is being gay and wont let me delete the profile
let this e a warning to all
Vista sucks stick with XP

Try going to the main firefox folder then click dictionaries and remove the dictionary you installed. let me know if it doesn't help. =p

there is a way that there was a change in the registry while installing the new dictionary...
you could try to boot up your pc with default (registry) settings.
(if there was something wrong with my pc i always did this and it always helped ^^)
----> but i dont know if you really want to do this...kyos solution might help as well.
ill tell ya if you dont know how.

So, if I understand correctly, you have an issue with the keyboard responding to Firefox. You cannot type in message boxes, correct? If I am wrong, then please correct me.
