My mobile phone has 256MB memory . But it is showing only 33MB free space without any files in the memory. What should I do now???

do you have lots of messages, that could have something to do with it?
Or your phone could be a little broken, how old is it? do you drop it at all?
My Sony ericsson does something similar, it says it has plenty of memory left, but when i try to do certain things it says theres not enough memory left.

I would suggest taking it back to the shop you got it from or getting in contact with the company about it... If it's a problem with the phones internal memory it will need to be repaired properly, but if your phones within its warranty and not tampered with, this should be free

Hope i've helped you a little ^^

If it were memory card, try checking whats in it using a card reader.

note: w550i??? Only heard of k550i... maybe my phone magazine is missing some models

Yes, this is the phone. I found it on a sony ericsson model booklet while searching my older phone magazine, though there is an easier way... search the internet... what a dumb me... stupid stupid stupid......

This phone has 256mb internal memory and have no memory card slot. I don't think there are any add-ons software like Fileman(for nokia) or something similar for sony ericsson which you can install to check the memory usage.

In this case, its best to take leni's suggestion I think.
