What kinds of MMORPGs do you guys play?

Anything other than World of Warcraft? Hahaha.
I've played different kinds from Everquest to Maple Story.
I've been looking for a really addictive MMO to play..

And I was wondering what the members of AnimeA thought about MMORPGs.

I played ROSEon when it was free Loved it when it was free!! Did a trial, also have Guild Wars but didn't play that for long it's boring :(

I had some serious lag, but it was fun while it lasted.

Yeah it was really laggy but the game was great!! The paid version kinda sux I think... Tryd it for a week but there where not much spells and stuff so it was nothing for me.

dude you definitaly have to try UO (ultima online) , i played over 30 mmo's, and have tryed many mmo's with super grafics, but this 1 stays my favorite, the gameplay in uo is the best, the pvp systen is also the best!.
its kinda 2D but there is also a 3D version, i prefer the 2D version. the client is about 800mb you can get it from torrent sites, and there are plenty of private servers, this is the best 1 www.uogamers.com , i used to play here when there were only 60 ppl, there are now over 2000 ppl!!.
believe me you wont find any beter 2D or low graf mmo, you can almost do everything in UO, you can make your own house (i knew ppl who had castles XD )!! and customize it! you can have a ship, you can tame different kind of animals like dragons, armored dragons, nightmares (are black horses with red eyes they can use magic) and more , and sometimes admins oraganize wedings XD :D, yes marry in the gameÂÂ* ;D. i experienced 1 wedding at that server ones, it was held at a castle on a island, almost every1 was there, ppl making stupid comments everywhere. after the wedding when the 2 went home, every1 was following them it was hell funny XD, the good old days.

the last mmo i tryed is RFonline, i tryed it because it had something new, you can customize and ride mechas ^^.

Has anyone tried Risk Your Life?

I heard the PvP is comparable to World of Warcraft..
I also heard Last Chaos is another good MMO that recently came out on open beta.

If you want to search for a game, I recommend www.mmorpg.com, www.onrpg.com, and www.mpogd.com. I visit these websites on a regular basis to satisfy my gaming needs.

Yeah I played FLYFF too but I like ROSEon a lot more :) Just played FLYFF for a day or so It was a strange game where you could fly or something dunno anymore

Check them out. The gameplay looks similar to Ragnarok or Flyff.

I just played Last Chaos for a while it looks awesome but it's kinda boring and hard to understand ;S but it's still beta so maybe it's gonna be better :)

Yarr, I was accepted into Cabal beta a while back. I played it, but it sucked. Silk Road, Last Chaos, you name it. They all seem like World of Warcraft clones with different graphics to me.

All my friends playing WoW seem to be enjoying themselves.
They talk about it non-stop. PvP, Ragnaros, Onyxia, twink, etc.

Would pROSE be a beta? Or are they automatically charging?

No pRose is not a beta... There is a beta client available it's called ROSE TALA EVOLUTION it has a new planet and new items if im correct not sure though :P

Im not really sure btw IF im gonna play pRose. The beta version of ROSE was sooo goood. In the p2p version they changed a lot. you only get 1 skill point per 10 levels!!

I hope it's gonna be different with pRose

It's not released yet. I'm switching over, because this lame company has had to delay Trickster 4 times because of this annoying SSO, but Nostale doesn't use SSO. The graphics are better, anyways.

One of my friends plays it. He already maxed out his characters and just plays for PvP.
The max level is 20 compared to WoW's 60.
I guess it's personal preference.

It's probably still developing. If Trickster actually releases on the date they state, ( ::) ) then you should probably try that first.

I used to play the original Diablo online. But I doubt that it was able to be considered a MMORPG at the time, since dial up was what most people had and the minimum requirements for online play was 16 MB of RAM. :P

That's not really what deterred me from the game. I don't know, the controls and stuff were confusing. Like you couldn't select the monster... er... you probably don't understand me. -_-;

I hope World of Warcraft expansion comes out soon so I can go back. >_<

I was level 13 and realized what a grindfest it was.
The quests kinda helped in the leveling, but there wasn't much else.

It's not leveling up that's the problem, it's the retarded keyboard controls that are used.
