View Full Version : Ahhh... my ipod nano broke..help

ok... my ipod nano is a 3rd gen....

Ok... this is what happened... yesterday... i charge it... when it was fully charge i disconnect the usb and turn the ipod nano off... This morning... when i try to turn on the ipod nano... it wont turn on... anyone know what is wrong with it? It is like it is dead...

Thanks for the help shihouin... I can't believe my battery didnt even last 4 months. ohwelll.... i already order a new nano battery and tool kits to open it...

no one can beat 2nd gen -.- I lost my first nano 2nd gen and dug around for the obsolete 2nd gen just so I could have a longer lasting ipod. My first 2nd gen got soaked in water too, and revived after drying it for a week.

Be VERY VERY careful when you try and open it. You can easily damage the case and the nano if you dont know what your doing. Honestly It better just go to apple and pay for replacement.

if you think apple services are too expensive, there are other companies offering to fix your ipod on a lower price. and try reading the warranty service paper thing included in your ipod box if you can try and exchange it for a new one. My friend's ipod just suddenly won't work, it was replaced for a new one.

ohwelll... i already order the back and front half casing... incase i mess up opening it... i can't believe the front half cost $34 and metal bottom cost $19.

The best answer is obiviously going to Apple.They got a hell of a customer service.
And i have to agree with my fellow posters - second get tech is waay more quality than third. Reason : Smaller parts,don't live long.
