just the other day my mom said '(....) or you can just do it when you aren't busy, nyaー☆' didn't really think about it at first, but after five-or-so seconds I felt kind of awkward - didn't expect that at all.. now, go start studying for your exams ^^
Lol I see, haters are annoying huh? As for the maids . . . I've seen one during this AFA in Singapore and I still don't get why it's so popular lol
oh and I just noticed someone commented on youtube, I guess one of them is you? - it's not that I haven't been uploading anything, but I've just received so many flags that another warning will get my account banned, so most of the videos are private right now :P too bad 'cause there're some nice videos on nico that you don't see on youtube
ehehe, happy belated new year to you as well (: it's been a while studying is going well so far, except that I have to find a master-project sometimes or else I won't be able to graduate .. as to why people go to maid-cafés? I don't really know. The prices there are 3x higher than normal cafés, but they still so many customers. They just opened a store in Nagasaki when I was there. The maids themselves aren't even that cute.. :P but oh well, I'm not complaining. Their voices are annoying though. You ought to try it yourself sometimes. You might get a better idea of why it's so popular than I would. also, hope your studies are moving forward as well ^^
Happy new year! (belated or in advance) Keep calm and press on! May your study be fruitful.
Hmm, can't believe you're still active! So how are you lately?
oh ya, I forgot to ask, why do you think people would go to maid cafe' s in japan??
O.O I find myself expecting part 4 lol Japan seems fun. I think they though you're Japanese cause you're Asian and would look like a tanned Japanese if you're not as fair skinned as them. As for otaku, no comments besides saying "I just hate the way mass media works" . And the general idea that people's happiness are based off some other group's suffering. Well recently I have been thinking, since there are mass & energy balance in this universe, maybe this is a kind of balance too? I'd hate accept this fact though. :( *maids are scary aren't they?"
Part 3 You talked about schoolgirls some time ago and while some of the uniforms were really cute, and it would probably be fun to try one on, I still don't see why people fancy them so much. And by the way, I got to see something that I thought only happened in anime. - Sudden wind gust - Skirts of a group of schoolgirls flipped - One was wearing black (don't know why I added this, bonus info maybe) but really... Some girls/women walked around with really (/dangerously) short skirts (especially in akihabara, not the mention the maids, some of which had to keep pull their dresses down from time to time). Even I caught myself looking (!!), ehehe. I don't get how they can walk around with it. Even some schooluniforms had (relatively speaking) short skirts... Maybe it's just something you have to get used to. well, I guess it's fine as long as I don't have to do it..
Part 2 Otaku because of the way they push, look really hot (as in really sweaty), talk really loud and .. uh.. holding cellphone cameras at low angles. Might be over exaggerating a little as most of them actually were really well-dressed in business suits.. there were all kinds of people really. - But maids are still scary The pachinkos are really popular over there which was kind of funny. Even in small and remote towns. Really packed and REALLY noisy (as in loud music playing) They aren't as foreigner-hostile as you feared. Actually, most were really nice! Not the best english-speakers, so try learn a little japanese before going there (if that'll ever happen). Being able to read a little helped a lot! Most people thought I was japanese, which was kind of funny, but also a little annoying as random people came talking to me and while I understood what they said, I didn't know how to respond. Oh, and people liked to stare at me for some reason I still can't figure out.
