Well It's very complicated and I don't really understan myself, but Now it seems that if it will shut down it will be back up in a few days. How the school system works is there are privately owned colleges as well as government owned ones. government owned ones are cheaper but generally just as good.we can pick to go anywhere, we just have to be accepted, done by testing or high school grades. It's expensive because everything in america is money money money >_> I choose to only try for one school because it was the one i wanted, it's in my state and government run (state government, not fedreal goverment (as in like president and congress)) It's just that right now the state government needs to make this budget thing and if they don't do that by a certain time, certain things will have to close for a little while until they finish it. but the school has some money of it's own so if that does happen, it will most likely still keep running. It's too confusing, I don't get politics @_@
what do u mean by say "my school might be shut down " ?? O.o does it mean that like you said , you might have no chance to college ? sorry , cos our education system is completely different , i know nothing about yours status ...>.< so will u just choose any colleges in your own state or will go to other states ? it doesnt make sense at all that it charges so high , O.o could it be that your goverment wants give pressure to youth before they enter into a real society ? lol , i definitely welcome you to China ... XD ......
Yeah I'm working on the financial aid and waiting replys on scholarship applications Maybe I should go to china :D But starting jobs in my major have salaries of $60000 a year so hopefully it wont take too long to pay off >_< it really should be cheaper, esp since now my school might be shut down because my state government is being dumb, so who knows! Maybe I won't get the chance to go to college, so wonderful right! Gah! I'm so pissed. I'm glad I'll be able to vote soon so I can vote these idiots to never come back into office. So yeah, maybe I should go to China...if only i knew chinese XD
way too painful , i have to say !! :( can u apply scholarship ? so u have to take 64000 on your own ?? its a huge burden !!!!!!!!!!! i've heard there's a project called financial aid for college studernts , isnt there ? In China , we usually pay 4000 -7000 RMB for one term (625 - 1100 USD) , there's 2 terms per year , it takes 3 years to finish college , and 4 years to finish univercity , so there's either 6 terms or 8 terms . then total we have to pay will be 3750 - 8800 USD ..... u should come to china for ur college :)
The whole first year is $16000 but I have enough loans that I only have $3000 left to pay...college is painfully expensive here so 16000X4years= $64000 Oh God. I'll be that much in debt. Yeah, US school systems suck
what ???? 3000 dollars ???that's a large amount !!! its 19,500 in RMB .. O.o is that amount for the whole univercity's time or just one term ?
Yeah, My parents could help at least a little but apparently not >_> I have a few loans and a few scholarships but I still need to make 3 thousand more dollars in two months... I'm going to try to take out more loans, because I can't make that kind of money that quick with minimum wage jobs.
