Lol, you sound just like me, usually I take CONSIDERABLY longer to do the things I love to do. xD That's okay though at least you got it done, and at least you weren't doing it for a company that demands you to meet deadlines. xP Alright, well I hope you're able to meet your personal deadline this time around, and if not, we can always talk about it after you're done with it in 2020.:D
Ahahahaa.....eeehh....I took LOOONG hiatus' in doing it. If I'd kept up with them and translated as I got them-would've taken me until-the end of august in 2008-since the manga ended in June '08...But since I took loong breaks-It's taken me...oh-I'd say 8 or 9 years to do it. As for FMA, since there are only 27 volumes of that-and I have them all now....Hopefully only 2 years. At most.
Whoa :o it seems that you've been having fun (well except the work part), but that's cool.:D So how long did it take you to translate your Inu Yasha books, and how long do you think it'll take you to translate the Full Metal Alchemist ones?

Hahaha. Well-my "album" has no cover picture because I started it before AF put a "profile page" in. So-that might be why you missed it. Right!XD That's awesome, because my imagination is pretty crazy too, at least, it used to be.:P Oh, well that makes sense. Any job that has to do with the medical field requires you to do that, even the one job that I want to train in(the one I told you about before) requires memorizing medical terminology and pharmaceutical stuff too, even though I won't even be dealing with patience directly if at all.:/
