So true. :) Maybe you've got a point there about him bringing himself back to his prime before he died, because remember back when Tsunade would use that jutsu, afterwards she would revert back into an old woman and she needed time to rebuild her chakra. So maybe Madara did the same thing, then right after he died, and even if he reverted back into an old man after he died, he'd still come back in his prime.:) I think he preferred being brought back with the Rinnegan, because unlike with Edo Tensei he'd really be alive again instead of just having his soul bound to another body. We really can't be sure at this point, but at least now we'll find out why Obito decided to join forces with Madara.^^
I'm not sure about that, it's obvious that if he was revealed before the war both his and Madara's plans would've been a sure failure somehow. Kishi obviously made it Tobi to help us out there but he also has to give a legitimate reason as to why Obito would've chosen such a name. I have no idea what Madara even wants but at the end of the day it generally boils down to infinite life xD Yeah that really puzzled me and I could only think of one conclusion; Madara probably used some sort of Medic jutsu to bring him back to his 'prime' just before he died, kind of like Tsunade's jutsu. Well there's a saying here, "sometimes the simplest explanation is the best", so maybe he just chose "Tobi" because it was easier that way.:) And you're right about the mazou tree, I just wonder if that was the real reason why Madara attacked the village all those years. Like maybe he knew about the tree and he knew that by adding Hashirama's cells to the tree, that he could somehow prolong his life.^^ It also seems that Madara gave his original eyes to Nagato, so that's why Nagato was able to use the Rinnegan, but there's still one thing that puzzles me. If Edo Tensei brings a person back as they were just before they died, why was Madara brought back when he was younger instead of as an old man since he lived to be really old? O_O
Yeah, the explanations in Naruto seem to be rolling by very quickly these past weeks, but new questions are always arising from the series. I've always wanted to know the meaning behind that name ever since Obito was revealed to be Tobi. Sure it 's his name scrambled without the 'O' but there has to be another reason behind why he chose the alias 'Tobi'. You were also right about the fact that the next chapter would reveal how Madara survived for so long, the mazou seriously helped him out there >< it seems the mazou has loads and loads of chakra to spare.
Thanks man, and I think Kishi kind of gave us more than one clue along the way, like how Kakashi and Tobi were the only ones who could use Kamui.:) Though another clue was the fact that "Obito" spelled "Tobi" if you just took out the "O" and then moved the letters around a little.^^ It's no problem I think everyone was fooled for awhile, and looking at the end of the last chapter, it seems that Madara was the one that saved Obito years ago and he was really old when he spoke to him so it seems that he DID survive his battle with Hashirama after all. Now why Madara was brought back in his younger state, i'm not quite sure, but i'm sure they'll let us know in the next few chapters. xD
CONGRATULATIONS You knew that Tobi is Obito! Boy was that a surprise to me, and now it seems as though Madara personally knows Obito :O. Kishi seems to be on a roll with all these surprises. When Kakashi asked 'Tobi' where he got 'that eye' I was starting to think that maybe it was Obito but I'm not gonna lie I thought it was Izuna right up until that chapter :(
Hehe, I noticed how more people are starting to believe that "Obito" is Tobi, which is strange since these are the same people that used to say that it was impossible.:P In the Naruto manga thread some months back I was the first to make a connection between Kakashi's and Tobi's use of time-space manipulation, and I said that it might have been linked by Obito's eyes. I made that connection from the fact that none of the other Mangekyo users could use that ninjutsu, and the fact that Tobi had the Sharingan in his right eye, while Kakashi had his in the left.:) Now i'm not saying that Tobi IS Obito, but somehow he managed to get his hands on Obito's eye.^^ As for Oro, i'm with you on that one, though you never know.xP
haha lol with each passing day tobi's identity is start to give way :() wanna see some more madara action though :L as for oro returning, i dont mind but i dont wanna see any of that edo tensei crap from him =P
