L could've stopped Light-kun in the helicopter.
He was sitting next to him.

Wouldn't YOU notice a person sitting next to you in the cramped space of a helicopter, had just cut their finger and is currently writing in his own blood on a piece of paper that came out from under his watch ?!

I mean come on , people ! L had chained himself to the person he believes to be Kira for exactly the same purpose : TO KEEP HIS EYES ON HIM !

Sure, they were shocked seeing the Shinigami. But L's smarter then that!
He should've known this was a distraction. He should've seen Light moving his hands in a very odd manner, just after the Death God revelead itself!

And further down the road of this series,

When Takada and Yagami Light are together , sorrounded by phones planted by the Police, and Yagami goes " Remove the bugs ! " to the cops, are the japanese cops THAT gulible and naive to actually listen to him ?

HE'S BEING SUSPECTED TWICE AS BEING KIRA !

What policeman in his right mind, would listen to this guy !?

Screw what the Chief said before he died. Every cop should KNOW that the Death Note can and possibly WILL BE passed around from person to person, just so that the real Kira will evade capture.

It's common logic !

Why did the cops cut of the wire just moments before Yagami confessed to his former girlfriend he was actually Kira?

Can you even CUT the wire just like that, in the case of an outgoing investigation?
If I was there, I'd leave the f kers ON , LIVE, so the whole team could hear Lighto-kun's confession.

Why didn't NO ONE at HQ even thought of the possibility of dissobeing that order?
besides Light was called out by L to be his successor in the event of L's death, just as a trap, a test, from L to Kira, to make him give away his secret identity.

You don't have to be a brain surgeon to realize Yagami is actually Kira, just after L's death, things should've got to be more clearer to everyone, especially to the japanese policemen, as the killings of Kira victims intesified all throughout the country.

It's kinda like watching a TV show with hidden cammeras where you can't see the Lion, but you hear the antilopes getting slain real hard just as SOON as the camera team is moving away. YOU KNOW THE LION IS BACK !

It seems like they changed writers in the midle of the show, coz the episodes after L's death, don't make sense, they have some plot holes big as Jupiter and the policemen are acting like idiots.

Also something that really annoyed me was that the task force would not listen to L and that they would rather believe Light and his father. For crying out loud the man solved hundreds of the toughest cases come on it does not take a genius to realize who is better. I think they where part to blame for L's downfall and lastly what L did that annoyed me was announced infront of who he believed to Kira about testing the rules of the book if it was me I would of told no one and have Watari confirm whatever the outcome as he was taking the Death Note.

Do you know that the writer Tsugumi Ohba said that he will recreate death note in a new form?

After everyone thought that kira died after he lost to Near but it seems that light is ALIVE :banzai::banzai::banzai:

and the ones who died are Near & Ryoke

well In my heart I wished hardly that Tsugumi Ohba revive Yagami Light somehow and my wish became true:banzai:
