Now I already have an idea what people are going to say about this but I think it could be fun to debate so lets see where it goes.

Do you believe people are capable of changing a part of themselves COMPLETELY. notice completely is emphasized. Lets take alcoholics for example. Sure i'm not arguing that people can't stop drinking, but even if an alcoholic doesn't have a drink for the rest of their life maybe it is just because they didn't live long enough. There are different degrees of change, and most of them are attainable but to me it seems that regardless of how much a person changes there will always remain a small part of the person they used to be.

Everyone asks me do i believe in god, and when i tell them yes they act so shock because i tell them that i don't go to church. Why is that shocking. i find no need to prove my faith to anyone. i can't sit in a church for hours having pages of the bible read to me, those anyone else feel the same, or do you believe going to church shows ur love for god.

Drinking Age

This is a topic I have been thinking about for the last few days (no prizes for guessing why).

Does the legal drinking age make a difference? Most teenagers here drink even though the legal age is 18. If someone wants to drink I don't think that their age is going to concern them too much.

I know plenty of people who are underage and drink, who can handle it & know when to stop, but also people both underage and overage who don't know when to stop, especially those overage who drink because they 'can'.

Drinking age differs from country to country. USA is 21, Ireland is 18, Europe varies from 16 to 18 as far as I know. Why? Can we suddenly drink responsibly when we're 18?

I'd just like to hear whether you agree or disagree. Does drinking age really make a huge difference?

Overpopulation is the main cause for poverty and environmental/political issues. Knowing this, would you willingly give a poor person a dollar, so they can survive another day? Knowing that they don't have a future and they'll give birth to a child who also will not have a future?

Before your head becomes filled with ideals, think realistically. There are billions of people on this planet who just cannot live with the same quality of life as those of developed countries. There is just not enough land and resources to support them. As we speak, the world population is growing exponentially.
By giving them a dollar, are you honestly helping them?
