This thread is for general Star Wars discussion, but I'll start off with a question.

Okay, so the first Star Wars movie came out in 1977. How is it that (almost) everyone in my generation has seen Star Wars and likes it?

I'll propose a few reasons: The music by John Williams is memorable and just really awesome. It was original in many of its concepts and went out on a limb, thus becoming very successful.

lol, Star Wars is awsome. I liked all 6 movies. :) Yoda is the bomb. XD I still rememeber the entire audience in the theater starting to cheer when he whipped out his lightsaber for the first time in episode 2. XD

lol..i liked all the movies....they are like.........awesome....the whole jedi thing, the evil empire....the force...the light sabers xD
and yeah..when yoda began to fght....oh man....it was so fun that everybody was cheering for him, it was really cool huaHHAUHAuhuaHUAHUAHAUhua

I personally thought the original three movies were better than the new ones.

that is for sure....even though the new ones have better image effects, the storyline from the old ones were better..that is why george lucas only showed then i guess hueheehuhuheuheuehue
