Lord of the Rings. Personally, I was never really a big Star Wars fan. I prefer the epic fantasies like Lord of the Rings over space fantasy.

Don't like either. Although if I had to choose... Lord of the Rings? I see Star Wars around a lot in my home because of my younger brother. LotR though I've never been able to watch thoroughly because it bored me too much. Well, same goes for SW (slept in theaters when I took my brother) but still, at least LotR is book-based. Yes, I'm book-biased.

Lord of the Rings. I never got into the whole Star Wars deal, space-related stuff just doesn't interest me. And as Leezah said, I enjoyed the LOTR books (even though I read them after the movie), which made it more enjoyable.

I like Lord of the Rings more the effects and scenery were amazing Lucas had to ruin star wars by throwing all the CGI into it and by making those God awful prequels and cartoon series

star wars 4 mah preffered the story better plus luved light-sabers :P

now if we were talking star trek I'd have to go that way. captain kirk ftw!! never a huge starwars fan myself but I did like the originals
