I am not particularly fond of vampires movies but I have to say Interview with the Vampire and Bram Stoker's Dracula are one of the few that caught my attention

mostly movies about vampires r not really good, but as Nebuchadnezzar said, interview with vampire is really good (as good as it can get) though the book was way much better

I loved Interview... Queen of the Damned was pretty good too, but not as good as Interview.. I like theBuffy movie too lol :$
um, i remember Lost Boys being pretty good too

Underworld was better than Blade. And I want to watch Interview with the Vampire, since I just finished reading the book. Is it any good?

yeah, it's very good, i think. i used to watch it a lot but i only had video so i don't get much chance to anymore...

Interview with a Vampire is my all-time-favorite. Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles are totally awesome, and with that movie they really caught the atmosphere and the characters. I neither like Tom Cruise nor Brad Pitt but they both did a great job. But Kirsten Dunst as Claudia is even better. That was her best piece of acting ever (and she was twelve then!).
Queen of the Damned is my fav book by Anne Rice, but the movie sucks. Really. One of the few movies that made me want to kick my tv to eternal death. There's nothing left of Anne's great plot, it is an empty shell, worlds apart from the book... but I guess if you haven't read the book you won't be too disappointed - still, even then it's not a good movie.

As for other vampire movies... I love Bram Stoker's Dracula, that one rocks. Blade I was good, too, but I didn't like II and III.
Underworld I+II were ok, but nothing special.
Well... the rest was crap, mostly.
