lol surprised more ppl haven't mentioned Anne Rice's work here. Interview With a Vampire and Queen of the Damned were good. Interview was totally better imho, but they were both really cool. and the Blade series was different, but good too. didn't care for Underworld =/ and Bram Stoker's Dracula was a great movie, HUGE thumbs up for using Gary Oldman as Nosferatu, he's one of my fav actors.

I watched Interview with the Vampire the movie a few weeks ago. It was pretty good, but I liked the book a lot more. The movie version of Armand was just so up to par. ^^

Interview With The Vampire is really good... although I think Stuart Townsend made a better portrayal of LeStat than Tom Cruise in Interview With The Vampire. He fits the description perfectly, plus the "seductiveness" was evident in his version of LeStat.

both novels were splendid, but unfortunately, the movies didn't give it much justice. bummer. I wonder when hollywood will produce better vampire films. there are exceptional vampire novels out there, but the films... err...

Hm, this "probably" won't interest the guy's given the content of the book but I heard their making the Twilight series into a movie. I personally didn't read the book for the romance value (since I'm not straight) however there were pretty good moments im there, plus

My faves are Near Dark, Cronos, The Lost Boys, Interview with the Vampire and From Dusk Till Dawn, quite like the blade movies- shame Trinity wasn`t up to scratch though.

Van Hellsing is quite a good vampire movie, shame the vampires die though :(
