About a year ago we had a link adding contest at AnimeA which was really great and as a result brought many new visitors to our site.

This new contest is going to be a lot easier! To win the week of free VIP access you'll need 1000 points. You can get points by adding download links (duh).

Adding a download link to an episode with no current link: 5 Point
Adding a download link to an episode with links: 1 points

You can add a new serie to our frontpage, all download links added to this serie will count as new links so will give 5 point for each download link. But you'll also get 5 point for series already on the frontpage.

If you'll add download links to for example Naruto, you'll get 1 point for each download link cause all episodes already have download links.

I know this might be a bit vague but just read it a few times and you'll get it ;)

How does the adding new links to gain point work?
I added a few but they still tell me I got zero points.
does the mod have to approve of these first?
secondly, why are there so many same titles that are actually the exact same thing?
like there are 3 spelling variations of Peacemaker Kurogane, when in fact it's the exact same anime and more of the other ones as well.
Is it possible to merge those into one, so that there are no misleading anime titles?
I would want to do it, if I was allowed.

Yes links have to be approved before you'll see points. I do this multiple times a day so shouldnt take too long ^^,

I've removed those duplicate animes i've found. If you see any other double titles please let me know ^^

I really thought it was amazing for the timespan given

EDIT:
there are btw still two Hanbun no Tsuki ga Noboru Sora threads
- I'll just add to the upper one which got episodes already

And I think that Shinigami no Ballad and Shinigami Ballad are the same too
- I'll add to Shinigami no Ballad since that's the correct title

Can you rename "I My strawberry eggs" to "I My Me! Strawberry Eggs"?
