| Unknown | The old man told him to carry a candle in his mouth? What I had read was that the boy was supposed to carry oil in a spoon and walk in the garden without dropping the oil in the spoon. And the boy was so busy making sure that the oil doesn't fall, he couldn't see the what a wonderful place the garden was. I don't remember the candle part.

| aspirant | i like this book..made me start reading other paul coelho's books but so far The Alchemist is the greatest..i like the part about the woman of the desert (me being a girl and all)..and when the truth about the treasure's location had been revealed, i had the same feeling i felt when i read the ending of Og Mandino's Greatest Salesman in the World,lol..
