Well i was bored and decided to start a thread, so if u want, how about u name ur top ten favorite books and authors, and i'm not talking bout manga but books. I love reading, so i have more than 10.

1. Vampire Academy series- Rachelle Mead

2. Mercy Thompson Series- Patricia Briggs

3. House of Night series- P.C. and Kirstin Cast

5. Twilight Series- Stephenie Meyer

6. Alpha and Omega series- Patricia Briggs

7. Immortal Instruments series- Clare (something)

8. Night Huntress Series- (Forgot Author)

9. Sisters of the moon Series- (forgot author)

10. Time travelers wife- ?

3. Enders Game by orson scott card <~~ really good book
4. Startide Rising series by David Brin
5. Journey to the centre of the earth by jules verne
6. Death Note another Note no idea who its by
7. The Forever War by Joe Haldman <~~ another good one
8. Neromancer by william something or other...
9. The merchant and the alchemists gate by tim chiang or something
10. To kill a mockingbird by harper lee <~~ not that great but i'm running low..

and yes.. i like harry potter... god it sucks... i've read so many good books and I can't barely remember 10 of them, i know there are some better than the ones i've listed that I've read but I no longer recall their names

hmmm. what an obvious thread to have. this is gonna be difficult like rob, I can't remember all the great books I've read. All must reads.

1. His Dark Materials by Philip Pullman (The Golden Compass, The Subtle Knife, & the Amber Spyglass.

2. Woman: An Intimate Geography by Natalie Angier

3. The Canon: A Whirligig Tour of the Beautiful Basics of Science by Natalie Angier

4. Foundation Series by Isaac Asimov (Foundation, Foundation and Empire, & Second Foundation) [wrote I, Robot -the movie starring Will Smith-]

5. Gone with the Wind by Margaret Mitchell

6. Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass by Lewis Carroll

7. Horns & Wrinkles by Joseph Helgerson

8. Watership Down by Richard Adams (even though its depressing)

I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?
