Why does the manga storyline go different from the anime?

This is just after naruto finds out he has wind element chakra,
where is sora?
is sora just apart of the anime story line? i mean why change the story line regardless, this 3 tails turtle jinchuuriki looks way more interesting then some kyuubi rip off in soras body....

This is a filler arc so that the manga can get further away from the anime the real story resumes today!

well why are they going for the 2 tails , at end of 71 it looks like it anyway, when in reality after naruto finishes his wind chakra training you see them going after the 3 tails, not the 2 tails >_>

like drew said,its only a filler.and antway im sure that by now(i mean when i posted)you would hav found out that in the manga the 2tails didnt put up much of a fight.........leaving plenty and way too much time to get the 3tails................anybody know where i can get chapter 413?
