best fighting game ever

I'm a natural born gamer and i love all sorts of games. but a fighting games are the best, at least i think so. i have played soul calibur, street fighter, tekken, king of fighters, just to name a few. i wanna know which is the best one out there, so drop your opinion here if you like these games.

btw- i say its either Soul C. or Street fighter.

I've always enjoyed the street fighters, those were the only one on one fighting games I ever really got into

yup. i was a bit discouraged when i played the 1st one, but became addicted to it when i played sf 2 and 3. but some are weak, like sf alpha.

For me i have 3 main games i always look forwad to
Soul Caliber, Virtual fighter, and Tekken.
any of those ill be happy

Ill go with Tekken. It has a very wide selection of chars and all those kicka@@ long combos (which are bloddy hard to learn>.<) . Also because ive played every tekken that has come out so far. Cant wait for Tekken 6 , which is comin out VERY SOON.....woot. ^^ *high five* anyone ?

Also the rest of the fighting games are pretty cool to. As sayed above.

tekken is good, soul calibur is better but...Guilty Gear is the BEST XD

Guilty Gear !? Omg that is one aswome game with ONE f1ing aswome sound track. I cant belive i forgot about that. Anyway if im not wrong its on Ps 2, Psp and PC. Guilty Gear has the best soundtrack ever.

Check YouTube for more videos if you wanna see gameplay. Its in 2d but decent. Also you can get it for PC. It doesn't take much space at all.

ha. if i get a system to play it on, you will be my first opponet. but what about the Def Jam games. i like the sound track on those and using slick rick.
