@saukura : Np,glad to be of help :)
But personally i only use Mkv (encoded with x264/h264) it has the best quallity.

Personally I don't bother with any format other than *.rmvb, unless I'm desperate. I stick to the 60~80mb file sizes as the quality is quite good for their size, and with a South African internet connection...the lower the size the better. It's a matter of speed and cost vs quality.

Well both are equal imo.
But xvid is a bit better (as to divx can not be played on most players and most new Codec packs do not include it.)

hey do you know a good video converter that can convert mkv files to avi (with xvid or divx codec) becouse I have a dvd with that plays most of the avi formats, but the newest anime is always in mkv fromat(HQ)...
becouse it also has a USB port I can just drop some anime on usb stick and watch it on dvd...
