Best media player to use?

I have been using media player classic and it has yet to let me down. Even on partial downloaded files it will still buffer and play what is there although trying to go forward or backwards is rather annoying. so take the poll and explain why you like the one you do!

You forgot Quicktime. It plays .mkv way better than VLC for me. I like it the most.

nope all players suck except Media Player Classic. its the best one like RighteousRob said it plays every video even if its partially downloaded

there is an other option also deek, but your right if your looking for video quality your better off with a player different from mpc.

hmm... i use wmp for music and mpcstar for videos o.o;;

wmp organize my music rather good... and mpcstar plays everyvideo format i ever use which is alot p.p

and i have try others and they suck q.q

i use quicktime sometimes but not often

I use A mix of everything. but with the right codex all my players seem to play everything.
As a habit thou. i always go back to real player. o.o

Personally, I prefer VLC Player.

If you have all the right codecs then you have no problem watching any files with a windows media player. But VLC has got to be the best player for me. Never ever have i had any problems and it has absolutely played all video files on my hard drive either be it some wierd a@@ file format that i don't know anything about or incomplete download.

VLC has its ups and downs with Anime - Like when you skip the intro or something, comes out pixelated for abit - I use Media Player Classic - Its a very smoothe simple media player to use - Id choose that over VLC anyday :>

windows media classic for me.....coz i find VLC crashing more often ..lol i also like GOM player tho....
