Question Video Editing

Is it possible 2 remove subtitles from a video using Pinnacle Video Studio 12 Ultimate?Every video file i produce with it takes a lot of space no matter the format i use(a 250mb file turns out 2 be 700mb after editing with pinnacle whether i use divx compression or mpeg4 standard!).BTW is it possible to remove the existing soundtrack of an XVID encoded avi file? How come whenever i click on Black at or Darker Than Black in AnimeA,the page redirects me back to anime list?
Sorry for the lot of questions.:-)

If you got the right format(Usually .MKV) you can remove subtitles in VLC player.

regardless what type of encorder you use there will always be a loss of quality if u encode a movie using a comp ( the slower the pc more troubles )

well i think the reason for your conversions become so so big is due to perhaps some multi sound tracks in the video file.

well i sue nero encorder which i got with my DVD writer and it too can remove subs and sound tracks but if you want a program which just removes the subs and gives you only some selected scence try virtual dub.
