Ok.. I absolutely loved this manga.. and from me that is a very rare thing for me to say. i finished it in 1 sitting. and wow... i thought the story was great... as to the question at hand.. yes i think it is possible to love someone in such a situation, If you found out prior to the relationship I think you could still fall in love with the Person. to share your feelings, to want to be with someone. these are real feelings. Feelings aren't easy to trivialize and deny by a sheer history. The person they are now is who you love, not the things that made them who they are. thats one of my beliefs. Many ppl can find love, a person in such a situation, Yes i believe they can find love as well. thou it will never likely be easy to achieve. If though like in the second half of the story. The secret is revealed after the feelings are established it would make it difficult. It would break the trust that is established. But i believe that if the relationship is strong enough it can withstand the turmoil. These decisions are big, and though the past shouldn't effect us so much. it still the other persons right to know about thier partners history.

okay my turn ^^ it took 3 sittings for me to finish it cuase i hate reading anyway this stroy has been the best i have read in years (manily cause i dont read much) i got hook by the story cause it made ya think what would i do if it was happening to me my answer is yes i would still love her from the deepest places of my heart we all have dark secrets and deep scars but thos should not define a person its what we do after such things that counts if i had a friend who had gone threw that i would want to protect them from anything else if after that it would turn into love then i would be so happy that i would have a chance to help that cute girl heal her broken heart and know that in doing so i have made her feel alive wanted and loved i'll also add that if i found out after i fell in loved with her that it would be like falling from heaven i think most could say we would look bk on all the things we've said to that person and realise that even tho i said all that stupid stuff to her she is still in love with me and that what she said and has happened to her should not make me love her any less i didn't fall love with her past i fell in love with who she is now cause altho all that horrible stuff happened to her i was still able to get her to smile and help find feelings in her that could of died forever. |

a very great manga, i'm happy you made this thread so i become know about this manga  my answer to your question would be "Yes"...i cant' explain well because my english is not that good, but i think what you and tanner said are already conclude everything ^^ btw, there is one think i don't like about this manga...i don't like the way the author end it....she make the character to think that they sure will break up in the future....their thought about that messed up my mood, i was so happy when they kissed, but at the end of the manga, i'm pretty pissed and sad....  imo, if you already think that you will break up with you couple in the future, then just DON'T be together from the start!!....if you want to be together, you HAVE to try to hold him/her forever and not giving up till the end.... @calamityangel maybe my comment is stupid and egoist....i'm sorry if i offend other member who read this...if you think my comment is harsh, please tell me, i'll delete it later

no no no it was quite right and has some truth but if you read it alittle bit more closely they say that but i think each of them wont find another who will take it the same way cause her telling a guy stright off the bat would more then likely end it straight away and also he loves her too much to let her go ^^ for anyreason

@calamityangel yeah, i want to think that way too :D it's just that because both of them already think that they will separate makes me mad, lol PS: God, Aikawa is so cute...i really feel i want to kill those guy who abused her
