Is Some Series Manga better than Anime or Vise Versa

May not be in the right section but, Is some anime or some manga that have both anime and manga formats have one side is that denfintely better.
Like for _______(Series) Manga < Anime or Anime < Manga

Like Black Cat. The anime was pure crap, but the manga is a gem!

I don't think the manga is better then anime but still.... there are some manga that ineed surpass the anime

Claymore, the manga is a lot better than the Anime as it has a plot split after episode 20?
Inuyasha manga was better than the "american translated" anime, not seen the jap version.
Bleach the anime is kinda better than the manga, but the manga doesnt have the fillers so it gets a point there.
Vampire Knight, anime much better than manga, stupid plot split.

There are a few others that do the same.

I also agree with T3KU I have read Claymore and Bleach where manga is better than anime. Can't say about Vampire knight as i have just started reading it.

Yeah, there's a lot of them like that.

Escaflowne, Wolf's Rain, Shaman King...to name a few.

Forgot about Shaman King, that is heavily split, but not as heavily as Yugio....just wow....I mean you can see the resemblance, but it is so far away.

Didnt know Wolf's Rain split, I havnt gotten to read the manga yet.

Vampire Knight thus far...not much difference in the Anime, but claymore did the same and then strayed away.

yeah, I agree with you. Bleach and Shaman king have a lot of differences. Vampire Knight I don't know, I haven´t seen the anime yet.

I have to add Gravitation. The manga is much better than the anime. the anime is too short and cuts the story a lot...
