G.I.T.S. is good, the original one is the best, 2 wasn't as good.

and a good manga to read, well, for anyone who liked Death Note I recommend Lost Brain, Think of it as what if Light used hypnotism instead of a death note.

Manga that is prehaps not so popular, but i like it is Mirai Nikki.

High school 2nd year, Amano Yukiteru, is a boy who has problem making friends. He thinks of himself as a bystander and will always write down everything he sees in a cell phone diary. Tormented by solitude, Yukiteru began to imagine things like a friend called Deus X Makina who is apparently the Lord of Time & Space. Seeing Yukiteru's miserable state, Deus gives him a new ability. His diary will now record events that will happen in the near future. Yukiteru is then forced to participate in a game which the winner will become Deus's successor.

Black sun silver moon is really good its what i'm reading now its about this priest called shikimi and deals with the undead and tail of the moon is good to its shoujo though but its about ninja i like it gentlemen's alliance cross is another shoujo but it's funny i like it to and platinum garden is probally my favorite and after school nightmare is really good i could go on and on but these are some pretty good manga series in my opinion

If you're a fan of rock bands, smokin' hot guys, and a steamy romance (and are also 18 or older), Kaikan Phrase would be a great choice. It's not finished yet, but already has 62 chapters available on some of the online manga reading sites.
