Graphics Program

Hey, does anyone know of a decent program I can draw with and make avatars and such that I can download? Preferably a legal one.. I know a ton of people use hacked Photoshop and stuff. Suggestions much appreciated ^^

*Also, I put this in general discussion 'cause I wasn't sure where else it should go*

Try Adobe Photoshop. There's a download link here on the Graphics forum: Adobe Photoshop 10 CS3 + 500 brushes XD. If you want a legal one, you can buy the program on its website.

By the way, you should post this on the Graphics Forum.

Ah, thanks alot. Well, expect to see some sort of crappy sig or avatar of mine at some point in time :P I think I'll have to look harder in the topics so I can figure these things out, you guys just have so many masses of stuff up here I don't know where to start ^^;;

There's alternatives to the cash-devouring Photoshop.

Try GIMP, or if you want, Corel Paint Shop ( I think it's spelt that way, correct me if I'm wrong)

well jesster,like all said,U can try either one of these 3 which most people use Paint Shop,Photoshop or Gimp ... now i tryed gimp and didn't like it,i never tried Paint Shop,yet,but for the long run i used Photoshop :) so thats my suggestion.

And we cant wait to c you "crappy" sig or avatar :) we're to help :)

Ah, well I've used photoshop as Otaku suggested. I've used it before a little so I know some of it's features. Now that I've got it I think I'll stick with it too but if it calls for it I'll try the others that you suggested. Thankyou again and my crappy sig is below this post :P I made it with Photoshop.

If you read alot of tutorial you'll get alot better. =D they helped me learn alot.

Thanks for the advice, know any good places for Photoshop tuts? I'm interested in doing some Photoshopping as a side thing now, it's pretty fun ^^
