I think adobe photoshop is best program for graphics.

have you guys ever used Paint Shop Pro 8, and does it work good for Sig or Wallpaper purposes?? (just basic stuff)

Nope - Paint Shop Pro is wierd IMO..

I used 7 for awhile and now I use 9. I think they work fine. There are better programs out there though. =p

Adobe Photoshop CS3 is the best. :D But you could also try GIMP.

wow, what is GIMP like? anything related or close to Adobe Photoshop? I don't know but so far i've used: Adobe photoshop, Canvas, and flash. not too good in canvas or flash but i just wanted to try it out. flash is really good for outlines and drawing where as i think canvas is really good for coloring.

Gimp or Paint.NET are both freeware.
Photoshop and PSP require purchase.

I use PS CS2 9 '-'
