i think the advertising rule is a bit too strict :/
i mean, if i find a funny news article or story i can't link it?
that can't be considered advertising, right? o.o

Dumb rule. If I want to link to a BBC article then I bloody will! How about this? Feel free to link to all sites EXCEPT those that are competitors of AnimeA. And with that I don't mean anime news site/info sites(like animenfo.com) but those were you can stream/download anime(except youtube).

"Try to use English. (If you want to type in another language at some point then you can. but I recommend English because the forum is in English. =p)"

English only. We don't allow anything else than english in the forums, so why should the chatbox be an exception?

"Don't abuse smileys." This one feels unnecessary. No one's going to follow it anyway.

"Respect other members + have fun" <- WORD!

I like the rules yes. suggestion : you can use image codes if you put them in a spoiler that will make it better :P

that would create problems everytime a member mistypes the spoiler-tag
