closing polls

I wanted to know: who gets to close a poll? is it the one who posted the poll, or the administrators, or does it close automatically after a certain time period/amount of votes?
if it's the poster, how does one close a poll?
if it's the administrator, how do you decide which polls to close and when?
and if it closes automatically, how long does it take/how many votes does it take for a poll to close?

Moderators and Administrators can close polls.

Also the starter of the poll can set the amount of time he/she wants to keep the poll up when they post it. This time frame can be changed by a mod or admin as well.
