I always try and solve a problem privetly before it becomes an issue. After nothing happened I went to scoutz and Shash since they are the only ones who can alter rep. scoutz said he didn't know how to do it and Shash wouldn't tell him how to do it and ignored me the the couple times I asked him about it.

To be 100% honest there are several things about this situation that bother me and I will voice them now since doing it publicly is the only way to get everyones attention without getting ignored.

1. Shash, it is selfish and wrong to not tell the overall Admin of the site somthing like that. I could go a lot more into this, but the general point has been made.

2. Shash, doing things only when you want to or when everyone has become aware of the problem is again selfish. Not to mention poor Administrating. The idea is to take care of somthing before it becomes an issue, not waiting till it can't be ignored. (I made you aware of this problem before there was there was more than 2 people with over 100 rep so don't say you were busy the whole time either. If it had been taken care of right away it was a 15-20 min fix)

-Can disregaurd # 1 and 2 now that Shash is no longer in an Admin position...........

3. To the people who completly ingored my PM, ignoring staff members is not somthing you should be making a habit of. Also it is not like I asked you to move a mountain. I asked you to stop doing somthing, and you know what.......THAT TAKES 0 EFFORT!


As far as a remedy, you are all right. It is very difficult to say where everyone should be. There are a lot of people outside the repping ring had their reps increased a lot because of the people who were abusing the system. (this is not their fault of course) So in reality a fair remedy will be difficult to come up with. This is somthing the staff will have to talk about.

Question about the rep: When you go to your user cp, you see the reputations you get right? What does the gray color rep mean?

It means that person had 0 rep power at the time. =p (I have like 30 of those myself >>)

Does that means your rep power will remain at that figure no matter how many grey reps you get?

Oic... so green reps are positive reps which adds up to your rep and the gray ones are neutral. Are there other colour of reps that we should know about? ^^

@Kim: Yes, that is correct.

@bun^ny: There are green (positive), gray (nulled), and red (negative) reps. Green gives rep points, gray does nothing, and red removes rep from the receiver.
