As the GetBackers return with the package, the transport truck comes charging through the alleyways, cornering the duo at a shrine. 6. Get Back The Devine Melody

The GetBackers are charged with recovering a violin for a blind, prodigy musician. As it turns out a rival violinist has taken it and hired his own men to protect it. In order to infiltrate his home, the GetBackers must pretend to be the scheduled string quartet, so they have to bring along Hevn and Natsume. The Job: Get Back a stolen violin.

As the team makes it way towards the IL, Kazuki and Himiko are attacked. After dealing with their opponents, Himiko feels they are being watched. She is attacked again and finds herself tied up by Kazuki, who reveals that he works for Makubex. Then the treads are cut by another Kazuki, who announces he only follows Ginji.

It turns out that the Kazuki who attacked Himiko was actually Akame, another practitioner of Kazuki's thread technique. After Kazuki defeats him he is attacked by Himiko, who is being controlled by Makubex. Then Jubei, another of Makubex's assassins, appears and attacks them.

A strange man wanders into the Honky Tonk one day and the GetBackers learn that he can not remember anything.
