They do seem to be racing through the stuff that was covered in the original anime, so I don't think much of it is done as well - but I hope that if you come back in a month or two, the new material will be worth a watch ^_^ Seems to me that they're trying to include the minimum possible at the beginning for the story to still make sense.

You think it sucks, because you already know what's going to happen.

I watched the anime before reading the manga, and quickly got hooked. To this day, FMA is my favorite anime. The reason I loved FMA so much, is because I didn't know what was going to happen next. I liked the uprodictability of it. And not only that, the strength of the story, and especially the charactors.

After watching the final episode, I looked up the manga, and now I'm hooked on the manga. After reading past where Greed is introduced, I realized how different the anime and manga become. The great story from the beginning of the original anime is still there, except that this time, instead of taking off in a new direction, the story continues as the creator of the original FMA wanted it to.

I agree, I find the beginning slow, because it's covering stuff I've not only seen from the first anime, but also read in the manga. One reason why I'm glad it's progressing as fast as it has been. I'm looking forward to the episodes after the point where the original anime split off from the manga. Trust me, the story gets even more epic.

On a related note, what happened to the thread with the dl links for FMA 2?

Unfortunately, I need a download link. My computer is old, and not in the best of shape. It really doesn't like streaming videos. Too laggy to watch.

EDIT: The file also has to be an .avi or a small .mkv as well, otherwise it won't work on my computer.

i was really disappointed with how the previous FMA series ended and how they addd stuff that totally out of the manga. (basically i'm pissed)

now that they do it all over again which is good.

personally i think that they cannot repair whatever crap that they had done on previous season and had to start all over again.
