Some Questions

Ok So Im about to watch FMA 2 soon, as soon as I download a few episodes.

Ive been reading into it a bit, and does FMA 2 not follow what happened in the movie Conquerors of Shamballa? I was really hoping that it would as they laid down great ground work.

Where does FMA 2 kick in from? When I was on Warez-bb getting download links. I saw in the previews pictures that it still had characters who had died in the original FMA series. Whats that all about?

Hope someone can shed some light to my questions.

No, it doesn't follow the movie, because it isn't the continuation of FMA. It re-tells the story from the manga point of view. Plus, it isn't even FMA 2, but Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.
