Manga chapter titles and errors

Oh well, anyway: I've checked the manga you said; I don't wanna say something that maybe I'll be misunderstood, but there was a week when that uploader made a huge mess among the manga chapters. He splited all chapters that had uploaded those days (that way it's writing on the upload page the fact with don't split chapters.. .

I tried to find all chapters from then but I'm still finding (he sure uploaded much). Thanks for this upload, but I have to say that chapter 0 isn't there. Maybe is the problem with the numbering. Writing 0 will not work. Just try 00.

Edit: It's okay and like this. I already took care of that. Chapter 00 is on.

Awesome, thank you for that, LizarazuHLE. :) You can have a look at the titles I have below if you really, really feel like doing data entry some time..XD There doesn't seem to be many people reading it (less than a thousand per chapter?), it's just really long, so probably low-priority.

I wrote my namings after the manga I collected, I can upload it, each one in it's chapter like Dark Horse did, here somebody obviously never looked after the difference in dark horse and japanese manga count.....
ch. 58-65 have the same titles as ch 48
on page 40. of uploaded ch 29-65 you'll see the title Secrets Part 3 which is actually supposed to be ch 49 by dark horse count.....this just proves that somebody didn't missupload one page.....


well I'm not sure what to do right now, so I would like to ask you: "What do we do now =P"

well I think that count after isn't messed up......as far as I can see.....there is although a difference in naming, my dark horse collection has ch. 73 (which of course now isn't supposed to be ch 73 but actually ch. 60) under Autumn frost, not Fall frost, which of course is just a matter of translator but anyways I'm wondering how to name it


well it's late now so I'll be going to bed once more


P.S.if you check any of the later ch. that are filed under a number greater 138 you'll see that they are wrong.....since THERE IS NO CH. 152, farthest it went is ch. 138............we have premature editions here lool

Mugen no Juunin (Blade of the immortal) - actualy, the fact with the titles is that some mangas are translated by many groups and each one takes the name he likes. It's better with the original name, and actualy there are and other sites that are doing that.
The chapters from this manga are a big mess and I've seen that for a long time. It's just that somebody that is reading this seria has to tell me exactly what are the correct numbers. I know that fact with the original and the translating numbers, but don't really understand on AA which and what. If you are reading this manga, you can tell me properly this. It's okay if you don't have time for it, or don't actualy know. I'll search for them but when it's time. I'll not add now the titles you post on second part till all the chapters have the correct order.

Thanks for adding the titles all in!! :D Although..could you add the volume number in in future too? XD I've been adding them to the first chapter of each volume, as [Volume x] at the end, simply cos it's useful when groups do batch volume uploads, to figure out which chapter is in which file.

Also, c15 is actually c14. :S Maybe I wasn't clear with the 13-14, 14-15 business, but I meant that the old chapter 13 is meant to become 14, old 14 is meant to become 15..

It seems that report 9: Assault the Digital Fortress! has disappeared, so I'll reup it as chapter 18 (proper). Now..
ch14->rename to 13
ch16->rename to 15
ch17->rename to 16
ch18->rename to 17
ch18 newly-uploaded

The titles are still the same as in my original list. :)

well what is wrong that there shouldn't be those chapters posted (ch. 58-65, and 66-72) from ch 57. it has to continue with ch 58. Beasts: Beasts Part 4.......which is 113 page of ch. 66-78......


so you need to delete the upload 58-65, and all the pictures from upload 66-72 up to page 113

of course while doing that you have to make a new count starting with
ch 58 page 1 -------> upload 66-72 page 113
ch 59 page 1 -------> upload 66-72 page 167
ch 60 page 1 -------> upload 73

so you see now, upload 58-65 is repost of the chapters 48.....54 and they made the misscount

now I'm not sure how does you panel look like and I don't know what can you do with the chapters so if you need them in correct titles and count I have them uploaded on MU (but for some strange reason Manga upload archives is a closed thread)


I posted the titles of the chapters in question below I think if you got what was wrong (if I was clear enough) you'll find them helpful........

In conclusion:
all the chapters up to ch. 57 are ok
ch 58 page 1 -------> upload 66-72 page 113
ch 59 page 1 -------> upload 66-72 page 167
ch 60 page 1 -------> upload 73 page 1
all of the ch. after upload 73(including it) are correct ones, but with wrong count

P.S. if you want to go with original translation then take autumn frost since it's not that I doubt the scanlator group's translation but you said it's better to go original and I think that Autumn Frost has a nicer ring to it then Fall Frost

ljetibo: I understand the fact with the pages (correct me if I'm wrong). You mean that some chapters are uploaded correctly only that some pages from them have to be deleted. I talked with Scoutz that a time ago and it's just the fact that it's taking too lonk to do that (not to mention that Scoutz has to do something for this) so this part is off. The only way will be to delete the chapters uploaded bad and reupload in the correct way.
So, Tell me what sould I delete or rename and the ones that will be deleted will be reuploaded.

there is more that meets the eye with BOTI chapters

not only that Dark Horses editions had a different count, but also front page artwork, which is now mostly unusable since there are a lot of pages missing

the best example is this:

Plot:
ch 99 ends in a middle of my ch 86 (actually it ends on page 32, which is worse since now we have 4 pages which are supposed to be transferred, and if I wish to upload them, I can't because my BOTI collection goes by a different count then the one that is up (dark horses))

Solution:
so now if we want to make those 4 pages work we have to delete all the way from 99 to about ch 107, because if I want to upload those ch(Trickster volume) again my count goes as far as Part 5, and the chapters on line have only up to Part 4.......

ISSUE 1.
half of the uploads are dark horse and half japanese count which is a big problem since story telling isn't appropriate, we now have to recreate from those chapter japanese count and we can't SINCE IT'S almost IMPOSSIBLE, I said almost because nothing is impossible for me when I'm on my vacations lool

I think that if I put a lot of effort into it and start reading online reviews that I could somehow find count
(when you read solution you'll get clearer idea of what I'm taking about)

ISSUE 2.
now we have 2 different scanlator groups:

1. one that is following Dark Horse count, and isn't scanlating anymore

2.one that will not redo the old chapters that 1st scanlating group did....

they are the only one who followed the count correctly and never posted just so that they could post it up......

so we now have to put together all the scans from the 1st scanlator and recreate the Japanese count
.................................................. ...........
(which is the original one, and if you ask me a better one, Dark Horse broke several stories in middle of it's action and that is bad)
.................................................. ............
and that is almost IMPOSSIBLE since I do not posses the original japanese count.....

of course I could redo it, but then we would have to dump almost all dark horse color frontages, and some other work too
I can't believe that dark horse hired a drawer to make different front pages....

SOLLUTION :

I decided to keep Japanese count active, since currently scanlating group are doing it from that count and most of the ch are in that count (in my possession and already uploaded)

PLAN:
I start to read a lot of online reviews to get idea of what happened in which japanese chapter.
Then I make Volume batches from Dark Horses chapters (i.e. there are 6 chapters in dark horses volume "killer" and only 5 in Japanese, I copy all the dark horses pics into one folder and then I use my guts and online reviews to approximately make from dh's 6 chapters japanese 5 chapters)


All my chapters up to ch 93 follows Japanese count FOR SURE........

chapters 94-102, and 105-119 are a dark horse edition and I need to rework them into japanese of course I would like to add as much of Dark horses color front pages so I would collect them all and add them with numbers that would place them last in pic order so that they would look like those appendixes that are sometimes in japanese chapters, like swastikaexplanation etc.





well as you might know(or might not) I'll be leaving in a couple days to a special doctor, so I hope that you answer me quickly
and on 28th I'll be leaving and I don't know if I'll have internet for like 2-3-4 weeks (I don't know how long will I be staying)



SOLLUTION THAT IS POSSIBLE BUT JUST TOO PROBLEMATIC AND LONG AND TRUOBLESOME SO I WROTE THEM ON THE END AND IS SOOOO HALF-ASSED etc.....

I make a new count, I use my expertise laziness and I make a mix out of japanese and Dark Horses chapters

PLAN:
1. ch. 58- 65 completely deleted, of course change the count of everything that follows
2. ch 66-72, split into individual ch. since each and every one of them has it's own title, or if that's impossible then completely delete

split upload 66-72 into following:
ch 55. Beasts: Beasts Part 1 (page 4 to 62)
ch 56. Beasts: Beasts Part 2 (page 63 to 82)
ch 57. Beasts: Beasts Part 3 (page 83 to 112)
ch 58. Beasts: Beasts Part 4 (page 113 to 166)
ch 59. Beasts: Beasts Part 5 (page 167 to last)

then we leave dark horses chapters all the way up to current ch. 119 and then we turn back to japanese count a little....with which we just completely ruined the story, since after returning to japanese count chapters will have to be split up (i.e current ch 120-121, 120 stops in middle of nothing, and 121 starts with nothing, just exactly in middle of the story) because nothing is the same, page count, where it ends etc, so we would have to add some pages move some I'm not even sure what goes where

and that's not even half of work and it seems to me that alone will take you 3 hours with the splitting and re uploading.....




I beg of you that you read my post with extreme caution because I went into deep waters of explanations of how to......and also I beg you to check the examples I gave you, they really prove a point
