Rep Power: 50    |  Bersrek Manga  Title: Berserk Year: 1989-2008 still coming out in Japan Volumes: 30+ The Berserk Manga appears in Hakusensha's Young Animal and is later released in volumes that have on average 10 or 11 chapters. It began in 1989 and is the master work of Kentaro Miura. Because it's not censored for TV, the Berserk Manga is more intense, brutal, sadistic, and violent than its anime counterpart, but aside from that the anime was pretty damn close. Not close enough for many though... I can understand why they chose not to include Puck, Skull Knight, or Wild, but their inclusion would have been something to see. Skull Knight is one of the most integral characters of the manga, but if there ever were to be a second series they could easily include him in it (as well as Pakk).
