Rep Power: 564    |  Appleseed Gets Online Card Game in Japan This Fall
The Gamepot and M2 developers will launch Appleseed Online Card Tactics, a game based on Masamune Shirow's future paramilitary police manga, this fall. The game combines trading card games with tactical simulation games, along with simultaneous online gameplay between many players. M2 had planned a more traditional Appleseed the Online game with Bandai Networks, but the project ended after a 2005-2006 beta period. Unlike the previous project's monthly subscription model, the new card game will feature free items for basic gameplay. The Ex Machina movie sequel opens on October 20.
