Government Employees Reprimanded for Gundam Wikipedia Updates

Six public officials working for Japan's Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF) were the subject of unwanted national media attention on Thursday when they were caught updating Wikipedia articles about the anime series Gundam on company time. One employee was specifically accused of over 200 updates to the popular user-supported online encyclopedia. The story was covered by the Yomiuri Shinbun, Tokyo Broadcast System (TBS) Television, and many other news agencies amid growing concerns about public officials who are caught using taxpayer-supported equipment and work time for personal use. How could they get caught? Someone just went to their computer, looked very closely at their screen and saw wikipedia on it or something?

I guess it goes to show how much work the civil services really do and I'm not just talking about Japan
