Jiro Taniguchi, the illustrator of numerous award-winning manga titles including The Times of Botchan, Hotel Harbour View, and Benkei in New York, has joined six alternative comic artists that the renowned French watchmaker Cartier commissioned to create a promotional comic book. The comic will celebrate the creation of the Ballon Bleu de Cartier, the signature timepiece of Cartier's 2007 collection.
