Konami Announces Hayate the Combat Butler CCG, DS Game

Japanese game company Konami has announced that they will be releasing a collectible card game (CCG) and video game for the Nintendo DS based on the popular comedy manga Hayate the Combat Butler (Hayate no Gotoku). The DS game is scheduled for release on August 23, along with a "special edition" that will come with a "Hakuō Academy Student Notebook" and a CD of radio dramas. The starter pack and first booster pack for the CCG will be released on August 9. Konami has not announced a North American release of either game, but the DS game will be part of Konami's display at the Next Generation World Hobby Fair in Chiba, Japan this coming weekend.
