Manga editor Jason Thompson (Dragon Ball, Shonen Jump, Fullmetal Alchemist) is holding launch events for his Manga: The Complete Guide in New Jersey and California this month. The 592-page book ships from Del Rey on October 9 with reviews of over 900 manga series, as well as selected artist profiles and overviews. Thompson is appearing at varous panels as a guest of the MangaNEXT convention at Secaucus, New Jersey this weekend. He will then hold a launch party with free manga at the Comic Relief store in Berkeley, California on October 12, and hold a signing at Borders Books & Music in Torrance, California on October 27.
